• progressing to severe diarrhea

Ebola virus Treatments

There is no specific treatment for the disease. Currently, patients receive supportive therapy.

The patient will be hospitalized and will likely need intensive care.

The patient may be received replacement of plasma heparin before the onset of clinical shock.

Ebola fever dies, it is equally important that direct contact with the body of the deceased patient be prevented.

There will be an attempt to correct bleeding abnormalities, often including transfusions of platelets and/or fresh blood.
