Its an aromatic perennial plant which has a calming & numbing effect that used to cure headaches,nausea, diarrhea, skin irritations, anxiety associated with depression, menstrual cramps, and flatulence. Tea: Pour 8 ounces of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons of dried leaves of peppermint , cover and steep for 10 minutes, and then strain. Drink one cup of tea with meals for digestive disorders.
